The Didde Catholic Campus Center exists to complement the secular education of Emporia State University by joyfully proposing the teachings of the Catholic faith in dialogue with reason, so that students, faculty, and staff may be conformed to Jesus Christ in their academic, professional, and personal lives.
DCCC serves students of ESU through several different activities such as spiritual opportunities, community service opportunities, and social activities.
This year, we welcomed a team of FOCUS missionaries. To learn more about FOCUS and meet the missionaries, click here.

What our alumni are saying about the Didde Center:
“DCCC was a place I could go to refocus. I would make it a point to attend daily Mass if I wasn’t in class. I also loved the friends I met there! So glad I was involved in the Council there while I attended school!”
-Renee Bilinger, 1994 ESU graduate
“Didde will always be special to me because I became a Catholic there, completing the RCIA in 2006.”
-Eric Patterson, was married & entered the Church at Didde.
“Transitions are tough. I found that when I went to college, and again upon graduation when I was uncertain as to what to do or where to go. However, after having experienced life as part of a college community of Catholics for several years, my natural instinct upon arriving in Emporia was to find the Didde Center. In finding it, I found home—even to the point of becoming a priest in this Archdiocese and offering my very first Mass in St. Teresa’s Chapel. How grateful I am for everyone who made this possible.” -Fr. Brandon Farrar, pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in Emporia
